For the operation and further development of our laboratory we are looking for a  

 

Technical assistant (BTA or comparable technical laboratory training) (m/f/d)  

 

Your tasks:  

• carrying out plant experiments (cultivation, treatment, harvest, sampling, data collection) 

• sampling and performing microtiter plate tests  

• implementation of molecular biological methods such as DNA/RNA extraction and PCR/qPCR 

• tasks of the organization and the daily operation of the laboratory  

 

Your profile:  

• completed training as a BTA or similar laboratory technical training (m/f/d) 

• practical experience in dealing with molecular biological and biochemical methods (extraction of DNA/RNA and proteins, PCR/qPCR, microplate assays, etc.) and plants (cultivation and care) desirable 

• conscientiousness, independence and prudence in the laboratory 

• reliability, structure and diligence in the planning, implementation and documentation of experiments 

• team player with a sense of responsibility, commitment and enjoyment of working in a small company  

• experienced handling of Microsoft Office tools

• good communication in German and English
